A group of ladies prayed for ten years for a spirit-filled Bible based Church in the Wills Point area. God answered their prayers by sending Pastor Michael and Brenda Williams who had trained under Pastor John Osteen at Lakewood Church in Houston, TX. Pastor Michael and Brenda were first invited to visit friends in Wills Point who had asked them to teach in a Bible study that was being held in their home. Sensing God’s direction to begin a Church in Wills Point, Pastor Michael & Brenda held three separate Bible study seminars. Out of these seminars, the Church was birthed, and Wills Point International Outreach Church (IOC) held its first service in the old Masonic Lodge on August 1, 1982. Land was later purchased and members of the Church worked to construct their Church building. On Easter Sunday, March 30, 1986, the congregation moved into their new facility at 1404 Lake Drive.
